It's almost freezing and you want to have a BBQ in the UK?

Organizing a meeting is always a pleasure, I hope people will respond to this, but I don't know how many people from Great Britain are visiting this webpage.
For me (The Netherlands) it would be to far to travel.

Needs to be somewhere for everyone to get to easily.
My vote will go to italy! You can go there by train, bus, car, boat and airplane :)
The weather is (almost) always nice and I think people understand English.
I haven't booked my spring/summer vaction yet :)

The way I see this, and we could do a SYNCRONISED fan meet up in Europe, like a big National MI FAN day :) just for those people who can't do UK / somewhere we want in Europe.

Obviously we'd love to meet everyone, we're hoping in excess of 1,000 people to come to an event we will sponsor and hopefully with some help from our friends at the Official Xiaomi China Corporation as well so we can give all the dedicated MI Fans something back :)

We could also have people talking on stage about MIUI, Scripting, Building / Porting, possibilities for this are endless! even bring bricked phones, we can try to fix them for you :p

Thanks for the ongoing support for this effort!

I'm definitely up for a UK meet! I think maybe somewhere that has some link to Xiaomi e.g. a China Town in one of the major cites would be great. I'm sure the Chinese Unions and Local Councils would help promote the event to all and the China Town in Birmingham often stages major events close to the city centre.

Not a bad looking venue! we'd need a mini stage as well. :)

I would love to come to a meeting. Even talking on stage if that is neccary.
Hope the location won't be too far away.

Austria, hungary or germany... can't go much further without investing lots of money just to get there.
