Good morning,
I just wondered about band support of my Mi Mix 3.

It's Global one. I purchased it because of the compatibility to almost all 2g/3g/4g Bands all over the world. If my informations are correct, the chinese version supports way less bands. Of course I switched to xiaomi.eu. The ROM is based on chinese ROM. Does that concern the Band support? Or is it possible to change only modem?

Best regards
J.

The bands are hardware related, not software.

Thank you for your answer. That is what I know. BUT even if the Hardware supports all bands, it's only usable if the ROM support all bands. I hast this behaivior on Moto Z with different ROMs.
Kind regards
J.

I have a Mix 3 too and i'm using latest EU weekly ROM.
It supports all bands of the phone.

Don't worry, al the bands are still working with the EU ROM.
Signalguru wil do the trick for checking the connected 4g bands.
You have to be rooted though...
