Mi4 screen rainbow issue

    Hi, anyone can help what happen with this Xiaomi Mi4 screen? is this software related or hardware related issue?

    try email xiaomi china but not reply yet for 4 days include weekend.

    Thx for fast reply.....i do think so, but trying to contact them to send back quite difficult. They asking me to do brush first thru chat support

    go to MiRecovery mode... is there same issue..?

    turn off device... hold volume up and power for 10s.. release them after you see MI logo...

    I tried but not sure if i already in the recovery mode....attached is the screen showed....still the lines but different colour

    Yes, I send it back and get a replacement.
    But I buy it in a Spanish online store.

    This is a complicatd problem .Maybe it is the problem of LCD itself problem ,maybe it is the problem of the display IC on the motherboard , any way ,it should be hardware problem ,not software related problem .
     
  14. Glad to see you got a replacement, anyone with a new Mi4 that spots a hardware issue like this should contact the seller where they bought it from straight away. It's a definite fault.
