Hello,
can tell me somebody, MI5 working with software MDM , such e.g. AirWatch, FAMOC,?
I was reading MI3 has identified as breach of rooted Android policy because ,
".....Xiaomi devices have a file with the SuperUser ID bit set as true that appears to have a debug shell:
o -rwsr-sr--root system shelld
• This file is not part of the standard Android production build. As a result, need to understand from Xiaomi the purpose of the file"

Best regards

There is a problem with adding the MI5 to Famoc as the MDM itself does not recognize the device, requires selecting the brand (and Xiaomi is not on the list) and model.
Therefore I was not trying to select other brand and model just to verify.

Verified using Famoc 3.22.0 and Mi5 64GB with latest prod. rom.

There is another Famoc update available but I need to double-check it before performing an update. It may improve shed new light on the problem though as it brings some android agent improvements, etc.

My assumption is that as long as Google services are being installed "on the side" (as long as Xiaomi won;t figure out how to officially deal with Google) managing Mi5 with/via MDM can be a bit problematic.
