Hey guys,

Today while reading some threads in the global forum, I have found a thread about miui 10 and Android P and there was a leak of the rom.

I have to admit I was surprised because one of the guys posted a screen shot and his mix 2s score on AnTuTu with this ROM and I was like

My mix 2s does around 271k in AnTuTu and this guy did 291k with Android P.

I don't care much about AnTuTu scores but I like to see how much android P improves the performance of the device in this case.

I won't post any links for the ROM (just go to global forum and search if you want to test it) but here is a screen shot of my mix 2s score running android O and his score running android P.

I have flashed this rom to test it and i went to run antutu to see the performance improvment. Imediatly in the 1st test, the refinary, there was no more "lag" which means the GPU performance is much better in Android P.

Too many bugs in Anroid P MIUI 10... Wish they would just give up a Stock Android P image and be done with it.

Hi. You use it? Recommended to test?
For test purpose only. It's a bit buggy. Every time I have to restart the phone, sometimes I can insert the pin code and the screen start flashing and I have to restart the phone to get it work. So far is the only annoying bug I have found.

It's notorious the improvements from Android O to P with this rom even being a Alfa Rom. When the Rom come out as a beta Rom, it should be better and with better experience

I know ARB could make any sense about improving system estability and so on but its a pain in the ass. For securiry is good i know
I'm not so sure its good for security. It's like HSTS / Key Pinning for SSL, it was HYPED for years then decided it was too dangerous for production systems so im on the fence about it personally.

It's a far cry away from where and what Android is supposed to be about... Open and free. Sadly Android will become a walled garden like iOS sooner or later.

I have to agree with you.
