I thought it wasn't downgrade. Weekly ROM is very old and had version 12.1. New stable is 12.5. Can't understand why it is downgradeYou flashed the Stable ROM over the Weekly without formatting data ?

The higher version number does not mean every component have been upgraded. Those are just two different ROMsI thought it wasn't downgrade. Weekly ROM is very old and had version 12.1. New stable is 12.5. Can't understand why it is downgrade
Format Data.Mi8 dirty flash to 12.5.1 from 20.9.4 with only Dalvic and Cache wipe
all the time reboot to recovery after 15 seconds and no SIM
Any suggestions?
Yes, you can.
I don't know, I don't enable Developer options (only when I need to use ADB via my computer). So far so good. Animation to Homenscreen and App vault is lagging although is turned off and animations in Developer options are turned off. Is there somewhere else to turn off?
Thanks! Updated, everything is ok)Yes, you can upgrade
(But as usual, you are free to backup important data before)
In other words, weekly rom and stable rom are not compatible without format. Pick one or the other, just don´t try to use both at the same time.Format Data.
Back up your internal storage then you need to format data (not wiping). Good luck.I know I am probably off topic, but I need your help. My son, trying to install a custom Rom on its Tucana, wiped System partition (the previous ROM was the last stable by Xiaomi.eu). Can I come back to MIUI without issues (simply wiping again System and Data, and installing the Xiaomi.eu ROM) or I have to expect some consequences? Thanks in advance!
I have same issue Mi 9 Miui 12.5.3 stable.//cloud.tapatalk.com/s/60d8dd5cdac90/Screenrecorder-2021-06-27-22-13-51-274.mp4Mi 10T Pro MIUI 12.5 has two issues
- Privacy Protection > Protect Clipboard and Approx Location not working, they disable themselves
- Boot shows Redmi Logo instead of Mi
Known, and same with the old power menu. No, it won't get updated. This is how Xiaomi released the ROMs.Xiaomi Mi 8 still has the old volume controls UI. I have reported it as a bug in the feedback app so hopefully, it gets updated.
V12.5.1.0.QEACNXM
Just flashed 12.5.9 stable on Mi 11. I hope the overheating issue is gone.
It should be Android 11 as the version number says RJDCNXM, not QJDCNXM, wheras the first letter stands fo the android version.Hi all, thanks for this project.
I've noticed mismatching Android version number between ROM Sheet and ROM Zip file name for Mi10T (apollo):

Is it just a typo or i missed something?
It also could be an issue with the serversAm on 12.5.1 and preparing to flash 12.5.3. Since MIUI 12, MI backup and restore has worked perfectly for me. But as of 12.5.1, it is not functioning properly and comes with a warning that not everything will be successfully backed up. Items to be backed up (apps, settings) are over 1gb but the back up results in less than 5mb. Is this a bug in 12.5.1? Is it fixed with 12.5.3?
Hello,Hi all, thanks for the replies.
I flashed the Mi10tpro and I am now on 12.0.7 stable. Will there be a 12.5 Xiaomi EU stable release to for this device?
The Mi10tpro Rom is at sourceforge and not at android file host. Is there a specific reason for this? Am I at the wrong Rom?
Thanks in advance.
