After doing a clean install the gps issues got better, although one of the apps that i use could no longer open automatically when the device connected to the car bluetooth and the other problems continued.Updated successfully in my Mi11 Pro but these are the issues i noticed so far:
-GPS was not working in the background up until i opened the app (Google Maps and others....)
-Could no longer customize or set dark mode in each individual app
-When pulling the top menu down, the background sometimes didn´t fade away.
I'm going to try to make a clean install and see if those issues get resolved.
Mi Flash can be used to flash stock rom, you can't flash custom rom like Xiaomi.eu. So you can't relock the bootloader that way.Hello everyone! I'm new in this (so, sorry if i do a stupid question)
I have Xiaomi 11 Pro, with GLOBAL version (v12.5.8) and I want update to Xiaomi.eu rom Muiu 13, WITHOUT installing a custom recovery... By fastboot with Mi flash tool from Xiaomi...
Can I just download the Room and install? Can I use Clean all and lock in Mi Flash to close bootloader? ( I want to use google pay)
Thank you very much!!
THANKS!!Mi Flash can be used to flash stock rom, you can't flash custom rom like Xiaomi.eu. So you can't relock the bootloader that way.
To install Miui 13, you don't need a custom recovery (TWRP is not compatible with Android 12) so you have to flash the rom through fastboot.
I don't think they share the same rom. Why would you lock the bootloader with a custom rom? You are not able anymore to update xiaomi.euTHANKS!!
I got it! So, I can flash the rom through fastboot, okey! But, then how i can relock the bootloader then??
p.d: Mi 11 Ultra and Pro use the same rom? Rigth?
Cause I would like to use Google Pay, only for that reason :/...I don't think they share the same rom. Why would you lock the bootloader with a custom rom? You are not able anymore to update xiaomi.eu
This is not a problem, in case you have to come back to stock, remember to flash the Global rom.Cause I would like to use Google Pay, only for that reason :/...
One last question: "Steps to install xiaomi.eu ROM for first time from China ROM" --> I'm on Official Global Rom as i said... So, could it be a problem?
With xiaomi.eu ROM you can use GPay. It's handled by developers.>Thank you!! So, there's another way to use Google pay with Xiaomi.eu rom?
I didn't seen any disadvantages compared to MIUI v12.6question for people who have been using MIUI 13 for a few days. what disadvantages did you observe? how with the battery?
I installed MIUI 13 stable onto my Xiaomi 11 Ultra via the fastboot and running the batch file. When I load Google Pay, I’m able to add cards, but the NFC icon above the card is crossed out. It says “Not set up”. In Contactless set up, here is what I see:With xiaomi.eu ROM you can use GPay. It's handled by developers.
You can install xiaomi.eu ROM directly from Global ROM. You don't have to be in Chinese ROM.
I discovered by chance while logging the issue that tilting the device on landscape mode gets the interface splash screen to start, then tilting back to portrait it keeps working. Then make a log for whatever is not working, and I'll let you know if it's something we are able to fix.
You said that the app was not working, but I don't see any crashes in your log.I discovered by chance while logging the issue that tilting the device on landscape mode gets the interface splash screen to start, then tilting back to portrait it keeps working.
I am not sure if this is a bug with the app itself or due to anything peculiar on latest xiaomi.eu ROM, so I am attaching here the adb log for you to see. If you can confirm that it is unrelated to the ROM, I will then report the bug to the developers.
sorry I was not more specific: the app did not crash but just remained stuck with no loading, just a blue screen. Since the behavior was different in other A12 devices I thought it was related to something in new MIUI or xiaomi.eu ROM. Then I discovered that strange thing about landscape/portrait. I am now inclined to think it is a bug in the app itself, but I wanted to rule out anything related to the OS update so I posted the log for you to checkYou said that the app was not working, but I don't see any crashes in your log.
So thanks at all my Device Works i have cleared all Data in the downloaded Google Play Apps. It was a very long way and timefull to cleared the Data in all this Apps. So i have cleared the Xiaomi Installer Package and since them it Works. Thank you very much of all that helped me!Hi… try the safe mode and clear caches / apps / data of apps
Safe Mode (This is not the "Recovery mode" or the "Fastboot mode" )
In case your phone shows a lot of errors and you cant handle them because there are a lot of pop up windows or you want to deinstall something from magisk as example ... try the "safe mode" only some important standard apps will be loaded:
- Power off your Android device and then power it on. You can also use the Reboot or Restart option.
- You will see the Powered by Android logo and MI logo on the boot screen, If they disappear and the Screen ist black, press and hold the Volume Down key down so long till system ist loaded
- The System will load and you will see a watermark... Safe mode
- Deinstall the app with the error / analyze the root cause of the issue and so on ...
- Reboot the phone to get off the "safe mode"
- Perhaps after loading you have to disable AirPlane Mode
