MIUI 8 won't update

Good morning

It's about the newly bought redmi note 4. It cannot be updated, because in MIUI the update shows that it cannot see the network (even though wifi works normally).

I have tried literally everything I found on the internet, including:

- using the internet from a sim card

- reset the phone to factory settings

- attempting to install from a .zip file (I tried to rename it, as in some tutorials)

- I also tried to use a VPN, change Wifi, change the ip address to static and many other things

Nothing helps. When trying to install from a file it says that it cannot be verified, and on all other attempts that it is not connected to the network and therefore cannot find the update.

Does anyone have any idea what can be done?

Ehrrm.. newly bought phone? This phone has been released in early 2017.. are you sure that it's new? Are you sure that it is a Mido (Snapdragon SoC, 8 cores) and not a Nikel (MTK SoC, 10 cores) and has some "WebShop" ROM? Check what is the phone type and look for a ROM that matches your device.
