    Hi,

Don't have the device yet but wanted to understand this.

Possible to put videos which are more than 4GB of file size on the SD card?

exFAT for sdcard or NTFS if you have an usb key with micro usb.
But honestly watching movie in 720p is enough, 1080p or more doesnt make sense it's a 8" device.

OK, just to be understand the capabilities.
So when I get the MI pad, I should prepare an SD card formatted in exfat and the tablet will read it without problems?

BTW can the device be configured to save videos and images from the camera directly to the SD card?

    Thanks.

I think so never tried, my 32gb sdcard is in fat32 and my 64gb usb3 key in ntfs.
You tell us when you receive your device and test it.

it support exFAT, if your SD card format is exFAT, then you can put > 4gb file on it without any issue.
(test on my mipad with 128g sdcard)
