Check this out guys, have had my Mi4 for 4 days now and only charged it twice. This is the battery life and screen on time I'm getting at the moment. This is running MIUI v6 latest stable ROM.

I think I could easily achieve 7 hours screen on time, if not more. What about you guys?

My brightness is usually at 35-40% as well.

I'm not able to get such battery life. I guess I have too much apps installed on it (eg : facebook apps which are always searching for internet) I have 51% left after 2h40 minutes. So that's not good ^^

Yeah you definitely should be able to get more than that.

I never use the Facebook app, its way too crappy and unoptimised.

Also turn off automatic brightness, I usually set mine to about 40%. Check which apps you got syncing as well.

the battery life of XIAOMI 4 is really long? Considering the unstable Android system, I have been hesitant a long time, maybe you give me Confidence
Yep it's amazing, better than I expected and by a huge margin. I'm astonished, especially since MIUI v6 isn't as optimised as it could be yet.

Yes using the current v6 rom.

The only Chinese bits I've noticed are the themes and that's it. I have no issues with it at all, everything I use daily is in English. All Google apps work fine too.

Ah okay, I didint have any issues with Google play services as I used the Google Installer from MiMarket.

Stable version doesn't have root, you need to flash the dev edition.

It should say if you go to about phone - software updater. I'm on stable and I don't think root is possible for me. Only on development rom.
