Hi,

I recently bought a Xiaomi Mi A1 from a local store. My surprise is that when I try to power on it doesn't do anything. I connected the mobile to the computer and it appears as "USB_BULK" or sometimes as "Qualcomm Loader 9008" (or something like that).

I searched and it seems like it doesn't have any partition or maybe it's bricked...
I tried some unbricking processes but they doesn't work.

Do you know how to fix it? Or should I go to the shop and change for other?

Thanks!

Of course go to the shop and ask for repair or replace! thats why you paid for a warranty..

I would definetely go to the store and exchange it for a new device if that is an option.
After playing with it, it may be excluded from the warranty...

USB_BULK is a form of brick.

It may be hardbricked and you'll need XiaomiFlash to reflash an original ROM which you can download from here.

Use these tools to flash the phone back to factory or as @ingbrzy said, take it back under warranty.

Thanks for the info.

For all those who, like me, bought the phone online and from abroad, in the event of something like this happens, we got something to go with.

Welcome.

I had a similar trouble but that was because I flashed something wrong and had to reflash my Mi5s Plus.

All is well now. Let us know how well it works for you
