There is no solution for your device as it's outdated, the solution was a newer ROM.

So you are on stock Xiaomi ROM and not using this cutsom ROM, aren't you?

I had 11 MIUI version and ig stories couldnt work properly, now I downloaded the 12 MUIUI ROM and it just began to work

guys, on 12.0.6 eu stable instagram works perfectly on mi9t finally!! it is android 10 as you all know. can anyone try if it is working or not?

i installed 12.0.6 on 11.0.3 which was the final version of miui eu stable rom that instagram was working good.
