NFC Payments on 13 Pro

hey peeps. I have an issue and trying to find out if anyone has come up with a solution or if it's just my device.

I have successfully rooted my Nuwa with magisk and using safetynetfix-mod_1.2 module to be able to use Google Wallet.
Everything works fine except that no matter which payment method I choose (GPay, Curve Pay, my bank) none of them sticks.
After a while it defaults back to Embedded Secure Element.

Payments work if I choose GPay, but it's tedious to have to select payment method every once in a while.

Can anyone confirm this issue?

PS. I am coming to xiaomi.eu from China stable and had the same issue so it's not rom related

I Believe, you will always get issues with rooted devices, when using banking/streaming apps. As the app gets updated it'll be less compatible, maybe stop working altogether.

I'm amazed it's working at all.

I have a Mi 11 Pro, weekly build, no root.
It's taken this long for banking app to work as they should.
I Still get issues, like if the phone is locked and I attempt to tap the app will crash. Unlocked the app will crash again after a few transactions.

It could be the weekly build, I'll test the stable build when I can.
