No Message Tone

Hello,

I am not able to hear the tone when SMS messages are received on my RN3 running MIUI Global 8.2 Stable [ 8.2.4.0 (MHOMIDL) ]. I did the following checks:

-A tone is actually assigned for receiving messages in system settings
-Changed the tone to another tone to check
-Phone is not set on "Silent"
-Volume is set to an audible level
-Restarted several times

Even then, when ever I receive a SMS, the phone just vibrates and does not sound the assigned tone.

What could be the issue here? Please help me solve this. Thanks!

I got an OTA update (MIUI Global 8.5 Stable) and the issue is resolved
