This flashable works with any phone according to the forum i found it, this install the camera from android 4.2 along with the new gallery.

THE MIUI DEFAULT APPS WILL NOT BE ALTERED, THEY WORK ALONG SIDE JUST FINE​

no idea, i checked on galaxy note and nexus s and it was working fine so i guess it will but you better check the forum link i posted

I guess no! Because custom recovery don't let you install any zip there is a thread in mi 2 to install the photo sphere on mi2. Follow that if you can't install this zip.
