Poco F2 Pro flashed stable MIUI 12 rom. Failing SafetyNet and Google Play Cert

Hi,
I've been running the MIUI 12 Stable rom on my Poco f2 pro for about 2 weeks with no issues. I've just noticed that my device is no longer google play certified and when I run a safety pass tester I fail the CTS profile match.

Any help, information or advice is greatly appreciated,

Hello,
Please write the MIUI version (12.x.y.z) and the Android patch date of your ROM (Go in phone's settings > "My Device" > "All Specs").


EDIT: And please use "DRM Info" app and screenshot "from the top" infos. Upload the screenshot here.

I don't have any issue with infos from your ROM to pass SafetyNet "CTS Match" test.

Can you launch a SafetyNet test again?

Looks like Google made some modifications to the SafetyNet test (maybe it's a temporary change)...
Don't know if removing Widevine L1 from the ROM only (Because I permanently broke my Widevine L1 certification on my Mi 9T, and I'm still passing all SafetyNet tests) will pass "CTS Match" test...

I am having the same issues with Google Play Certification with my Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition. Is is happen for all Redmi K30 Pro devices ?
So this problem is on Google end and Xiaomi cannot contact Google do anything about it ?

I had the same problem. EU Stable 12.0.2 update fixed this safetynet issue for me. You can give it a try.

BTW, i have switched between 12.0.1 stable to 20.x.x beta, beta changed nothing for safetynet issue for me and then switched back 20.x.x beta to 12.0.2 stable. So everytime i had clean install the rom.

I m still on 12.0.1 and hesitating to update as I don't see any change log for this update. I want to make sure there is no issue and star before I update as I can't risk wiping my data.

I also had no changelog but after updating it did not wipe my data, so you're okay to update.

I have no any problem with the Stable 12.0.2. Everything working flawless for me.

I believe it is. When i am on weekly beta i had safetynet issue and Netflix also coundn't be downloaded from Play Store. I had to download Netflix from apkmirror. After i switch Stable 12.0.2 no safetynet issue and Netflix app can download from Play Store.

Before unlocking bootloader and flashing xiaomi.eu ROM everything was ok

I'm on MIUI 11 stable and a few weeks ago I had a failed CTS, I done nothing and now I have a passed CTS. Any ideas?

So glad i found this before i done anything on my spanking new F2 Pro.
Being currently on Global stable 12.0.1, I really wanted to give EU a try to see if it has Call record feature(vital for my work).
But now i am a bit paranoid to have no way to roll back in case i need to and have G Pay and banking apps working

1. Unlock bootloader with Mi tool
2. Flash Stable EU 12.0.1
3. Lock bootloader( do i need to after stock flash?)

Hello,

You must never lock the bootloader if you use a custom ROM like EU ROM, you will brick your device.

So:
1. Unlock bootloader with Mi tool
2. Flash Stable EU 12.0.1
3. Check SafetyNet results

Give results here if it fails.
