Hello! I recently installed xiaomi.eu weekly 23.5.8 on my f4. When i booted to the recovery, expecting mi recovery, i was surprised to see twrp. As i have never installed any other roms/recoveries and xiaomi.eu was installed via fastboot , is this normal?

Yes, it's normal. On some models, TWRP is included in the ROM if available.

Device List (A/B and A/B rec):
- A/B devices (do not have a dedicated recovery partition) = TWRP is part of the ROM
- A/B rec devices (have a dedicated partition for recovery) = TWRP needs to be installed separately.
