I have disabled Mi cloud and background data for the Gallery app, however it doesn't seem to stop it from consuming my metered WIFI connection. Yes, that exists!!

It seems to start downloading something every time a new photo/video is saved to my device. Screenshotting, taking a photo, taking videos, screen recording. Anything, as long as an app saves something that the Gallery app can recognize.
Force stopping, deleting cache, deleting data does not work. Trust me, I've tried.

Temporary solution: Use a firewall, like AFWall+
Drawbacks:
Your battery life.
Hoping for a fix.

Sorry to ask again the same. I'm on xiaomi.eu version 12.0.2.0(QJZMIXM) on Redmi Note 9 Pro. Is there a way to solve this issue? I don't want to update to avoid resinstalling Magisk and problems derived from bank apps...
On the other hand I read this post, so I don't really know if this is a bug...

Thank you in advance

Edit: Ok, I found a solution, downgrade the app, althought don't know if it's the best way... and the right file for me to use

Edit: no way to downgrade the app nor disable it with adb. I added it to AFWall+, it's all I can do, the problem seems not to be solved...
