Poor ram management

Why does this Rom has such poor ram management? Any app, if sent to background, is automatically removed from ram. Every time I'm multi tasking, reloads, reloads and more reloads. This phone has enough ram to keep at least some apps in memory, but it keeps none. Firefox is always pushed out of memory. Onedrive too. Instagram too. Whatsapp too. Always reload, reload, reload.

What "this" ROM mean? Using the "lock" button in recent screen should help.

Oh sorry, I really forgot to say that haha. I'm using MIUI 12 V12.2.3.0.RJKCNXM (stable). According to the updater I'm on the latest version.

It's a known MIUI behavior, but try locking app(s) you want to keep in RAM => Hold down on the app on the app switcher menu and hit the lock button.

Thank you for your reply. I know this is a problem with MIUI but it seems to be specific to this device, or at least an intended behavior. I had a F1 before this one and I never had this problem with it. It shouldn't be a problem to this device to hold an application in RAM.
