Prevent pocket dials function not working

Hi,
I've tried placing my phone in the pocket after enabling the 'prevent pocket dials function' but the display doesn't seem to lock. I have tried a sensor test app to test the proximity sensor and it seems to be working fine (able to detect 'near' and 'far'). Is this a bug?

After turning on the "Prevent pocket dial option" feature. I could see the image of prevent pocket dial while clicking power button. please help on it.
