[RedmiNote7Pro/Violet] How to get Wifi and Hotspot working together?

On my previous device, the Redmi Note 5 Pro (Whyred), it was possible to flash a patch to get this feature back. However, the same patch isn't working for Redmi Note 7 Pro. I tried on the latest MIUI10 and MIUI11 ROMs for the device. The patch does not change anything. I understand that this should be possible hardware wise, as Redmi Note 7 Pro also has dual channel wifi. Can anyone help?

I thought it was clear. I want to know how I can enable Wifi and Hotspot at the same time on Xiaomi.eu MIUI11 stable ROM. I'm currently on AOSP Pie 9.0, and it is possible by default.
