Rn2 Miui 8 And "adb Root"

Hi,

Can anyone check if adb root works on RN2 MIUI8? I installed the adb drivers that came with PDA NET and adb works OK. If I do adb devices I get my device, adb shell works.

However as soon as I try "adb root" (or adb kill-server, adb root) the device is not listed anymore. After that adb does not show my device again - even if I just use adb start-server without root. This was working OK on MIUI7.

I don't know if this affects "adb root" but I'm using SuperSU 2.76, on MIUI 7 I was using UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.65-20151226141550.

Any hints on how to troubleshoot that are welcome.

P.S. By adb root I mean running the command "adb root" in cmd.exe

work ok with miui 8. I rooted my device 2 weeks ago via adb.
use twrp 3.0.2-0 or 3.0.2-2 with the latest SuperSU (UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.65-20151226141550) and will work

santtos: I guess it's SuperSU, then... I just don't understand why you say latest update for SuperSU - the latest version is 2.76, from what I know, not 2.65.

I try it now 2.76 and work, just installed MIUI 8 stable.
You can try use 2.65 and after reboot, update from playstore
