    Hello people.
Something strange happens on my RedmiNote 3 Pro.
I have some maps on external SD card, some belongs to Here Maps and some to Maps.me Pro.
The SD card is 64GB... maps are about 4GB
Sometimes that maps files are in somehow deleted, I find the relative folders empty.
It seems to happens every time after a system backup (manual or auto) and some other times I don't know exactly when.
Just to avoid to download forever new files I made a copy of those maps in another folder created and when the files fly away I made a copy.. it a temporary workaround but it cannot be a solution :)

    Any suggestion ?
    Thanks in advance

    EDIT
Sorry, I get the wrong thread, the Redmi 3 instead of Redmi Note 3 :(

This is a possible behavior of a FAKE SD card (if it is proven) because they are tricked to always show you their false capacity but as soon they reach the true available space they delete some folders.
Try a tool to check for fake SD card or fill it with large data to see if they are REALLY written into.
    I wish to be wrong!...

Thanks for your answer, I'm using a Samsung 64GB SD and map data survive and are useful for long time, they are deleted only and just when a backup (manual or automatic) is performed.
    It behaviors strange :)
    Really strange....

Now I'm going to test to bypass the backup on those applications.... a workaround but not a solution...

Could it be backup running cleaner before backup? Try different cleaner settings from Security app.
