Rooting Miui 9

I would like to ask if its ok to root our mi5 with miui9 version with same files and procedure uses on miui8 ?

Hello,

After installing the stable ROM Miui 9 on Wednesday with TWRP, I rooted by installing SuperSU-v2.82-201705271822 with TWRP; fast and trouble free.
