Small Whatsapp icon when multiple whatsapp notifications arrived

Hi everyone,
For the last two builds(8.9.6 and 8.9.13) at my Mi6, there is a small white whatsapp notification on the ns. Is that a bug? Rectangulars declare these icons in the following ss.

8.9.20 also has same bug. In miui 9, we could see people's faces instead of small white whatsapp icons.

It is still in 8.11.1. Do your phones have this bug?
