Hi.
I have a Redmi Note 3 Pro SE (kate) phone.
I unlocked the bootloader unofficially, because in the official way it stuck a 50%.
So i unlocked it unofficially, installed ZCX TWRP, wiped cache, dalvik, data, and when i try to install Xiaomi.eu rom for kate, it freeze for 1-2 sec after the MD5 check, and reboot to system without installing anything.

Any solution for this?

Thanks in advance.

Did you try to download rom again? Maybe something wrong with rom file.

Redmi Note 3 PRO SE

Same problem for me.
Xiaomi kate reboots when trying to flash rom from twrp.

After a lot off time fixed.
Here is what i did:
1. Flash the china developer from mi flash and unofficial unlock.
2. Flash zcx twrp.
3. Boot to recovery and from mount uncheck system is read only.
4. Flash supersu zip
5. Format data and wipe everything except system
6. Flash the rom zip file and the phone did not reboots.
7. After flash reboot the phone and everything is ok.
8. If you see the phone is encrypted reboot to twrp and format data and do wipes except system.

The rom i flashed was in external sd card.
Also you can replace the bootloader from the europe rom with the unlocked bootloader you have used for unofficial unlock and then flash the rom.

SOLVED

Steps:

  1. Unlocked with unofficial method
  2. Installed ZCX TWRP
  3. Switched "Allow OTA updates" ON in TWRP
  4. Made backup of the phone (except cust)
  5. Stored them on the internal storage
  6. Wiped everything (system, data, cache, dalvik) except internal storage.
  7. Tried to install the xiaomi.eu rom and it installed successfully

Why flash supersu (no.4) before flasing rom?

Redmi Note 3 PRO SE
Yes, it is wrong the supersu su goes after flashing the rom.
