Ui Upgrade - Simple User

I have the european version 7.2.5 by xiaomi.eu
Is there a chance that i will be able to upgrade my version to miui 8 by simply going to setting->update ?
Maybe not now, but someday?i'm not sure how it all works and if the all rom download and wipes is the only way to upgrade (again, i'm a simple user).

I am sorry but that was not the question.
Do i have to touch the roms and stuff? Will there ever be a simple upgrade in my phone settings/updater? Like all other normal phones?

Download rom, go to Updater app, press three dots, Choose update package, select rom zip and wait.

so i did what you suggested and downloaded from this site this rom:
xiaomi.eu_multi_HMNote3Pro_V8.0.5.0.LHOCNDG_v8-5.1.zip
that i suppose is the best fit for my phone.. i saw somewhere that my phone is kenzo.
i put the rom on my SD card and did the update from package and got the validation error (see attached file)

i am missing something?

Try downloading again into internal storage and update.

Did you install earlier xiaomi.eu rom yourself or was it in phone when you bought it? In latter case might be selled tampered rom.

Tried on internal storage, same thing.

You can flash Xiaomi original firmware in EDL mode with MiFlash.
