Hello everyone,

I bought the phone in US and it came with Chinese ROM (I am assuming that cuz my phone had all Chinese apps initially). Afterwards, I unlocked the bootloader and updated the ROM from xiaomi.eu official website. I am now confused which ROM did I installed and to top that, just found out that Global and EU are 2 different ROMs.

My phone's MIUI version says "MIUI by xiaomi.eu 12.5.13 Stable".

Can anyone tell me which ROM is it?

& if I should stick with it or switch to xiaomi.eu for better and enhanced features?

All answers are appreciated in advance.

kind regards,
Shahzad S.

Hello and welcome! :)

Xiaomi.eu is not an official Xiaomi website, it's a community forum about custom MIUI ROMs made by Xiaomi.eu's staff. ;)

In my humble opinion, you will have the best MIUI experience with Xiaomi.eu ROMs.

Xiaomi.eu ROMs are based on Official ROMs by Xiaomi but with some changes, here's a list:

Our ROMs features:
  • 3way reboot menu (in dev settings) [not in Android 12 yet]

  • Default volume control stream toggle
  • Tap fingerprint sensor to wake toggle

  • Unified flat style app icons for both system and 3rd party apps
  • Advanced menu with color icons
  • No any Chinese character under the full system
  • Mi Video, Mi Music, Mi Browser: No any useless Chinese content

Thanks for the answer @Poney70

But I'm already on Xiaomi.EU ROM - Just wanted to figure out which one is it!

I just updated my phone and figured out my phone (Xiaomi MI11) has the EU Stable Rom.

dear shahzad, you are on the rom wich poney70 described. look at Miui12 releases
Still really confusing for me brother!

The update package was downloaded from phone's setting and the version was xiaomi.eu_multi_MI11_V12.5.13.0.RKBCNXM_v12-11.zip which is located at the download page of the stable roms. so I am pretty sure that I am using the latest stable rom version on mi11, just not sure if @Poney70 is pointing the same rom.

Also, is there anyway I can compare the features in my current rom versus features from the latest weekly rom?

I dont know exactly, because i use the weekly (beta) version. There the features are described every week in a new thread in second post.
In stable thread maybe there is somebody who write the features of the new one (as described in the updater app after the new one installation).

Okay, so tried playing around a bit. Did a Factory reset on my phone which actually got rid of the OS too :p

so I did a clean flash of Xiaomi mi11 EEA ROM 12.5.7 Stable.
