Hello.

I have the Mi Max 2 and i'm sure many if not all Xiaomi users will agree with this post.

This is my second Xiaomi phone.
the previous one was the Note 3 Pro.

Im very disappointed about a feature that always bothered me on Xiaomi phones, and still didn't get fixed.

I'm talking about the bad sound quality that you get when you record anything with the phone's microphone.

It happens either when you use the camera app, or an audio recorder (also a good third party one doesn't help)

What happens is you get a metallic, trebly, verrryyy unpleasant kind of sound, that goes down and up with the volume during the video.

All over the internet people are complaining, and many suggest it's the noise cancelling microphone in action, doing worst instead of making it better.

I didn't see Xiaomi respond to any of this, and this has been happening for a long time.
The only thing i saw were disappointed and frustrated users that are just looking for a fair answer.

Im suggesting, lets pick up the glove.
Lets make some noise here, and ask Xiaomi for an answer, for some support, some handling with this situation.
Its just not right and doesn't make sense to me that every Xiaomi phone is lacking the basic feature of recording sound decently.
I believe it might actually be a software issue that can be fixed.

Please Xiaomi devs, pay attention to your users.
At least admit that there's something wrong with your mics.
Admitting the problem is the first step of facing it.
Do the right thing and be there for us.
It will make us (at least the ones who are trying to record audio with their smartphone, me included) trust you completely and feel comfortable buying more of your phones...

Anyone who's with me, please share your experience.
Thanks

This is my issue with Mi Max 2: when I record only voice (like call recorder) everything's ok, when i record the voice with music, the voice is clear but the music sound is awful. Any solution?
