VoLTE does not work / Magisk Hide does not work with banking app

Hi guys, on global rom VoLTE did work here in Germany, but with xiaomi.eu I can't activate it.
I know the workaround with magisc. But why doesn't it work by default?
I don't want to use magisc because my banking app doesn't work with it, even with hide.
After there any other solutions? How can I file a bug für xiaomi.eu?

Even when I open PayPal I get the info that my phone seems to be rooted.
Obviously Magisk Hide does not work with all apps

Fully rooted and no issues, Google pay, nfc payment, push-tan, foetnite..

So it's not magisk fault!

I'm on pie with magisk 17

Before that, oreo on mi6 with magisk 16.4.

I just realized that I didn't install Magisk after the latest update. After installing Magisk 18 I get again the message that the phone is rooted. Unfortunately I can't make an screenshot.
Can it be that the message comes not from PayPal but from Xiaomi? Ed looks like there is no message from the app?

In your video of have seen that you were able to install adaway. I'm not able to install it. I get an error.
In root beer I get some errors.
I guess my root is not as good as yours

Now I have activated systemless host file in Magisk manager. Now Adaway is working. But the other problems still exist.

Ok, next update: the reason for the message in PayPal was the security scan of Avast which was switched on by default.

Hot hint, untick magisk hide, re-enable it, see what happens, you hide root for all those apps, right?

That was a good hint für root beer. But TAN2go still recognizes that the phone is rooted or bootloader is open

I just installed tan 2go on my device, no issue, no warning, could create password..

TAN2go doesn't even really start. It just opens the web page I was showing.
I'm not giving up but I don't have any clue why this happens.

Remove magisk traces (folders) from your internal storage, hide root also for gsf and playstore, don't give up, you can make it! Any accessibility services enabled?

Then sorry for my easy problems... ;-)
Before I had a OnePlus which didn't have NFC, so no problems with payment apps.
My bank DKB just pushes me to use this new app since one week. That's why I didn't have this problem before.
I was using Magisk since the beginning, but obviously I never had to hide root.
So I'm new to this "hide my root privileges" world

Thanks to all, who helped me with my (at least for me) big problems with my new phone!
