New Whatsapp Custom Sounds Do Not Ring

I have MI4C and 7.3.16 weekly, and whatsapp custom sounds do not ring, only system sounds.
Any solution?

It is whatsapp version. downgrade to a previous one. I had 2.17.107 and had the same problem.
I uninstalled it and put 2.17.79 and it is ok now.

If you have root you can change the customs sounds of .mp3 to .ogg and it will work for you
