Where to check for Version and where NOT to update!

    Ok, a few guys already said they will buy a MiBox and want to make sure they can root it. I realize not all of you know Chinese. Just to make sure you don't accidentally update, here's a little guide.

    Check your Version:

    Go to the last tap (设置)
    Choose the blue tile, the one with the wrench
    The second tile in the second row will show you your version number - this tile is called 系边统升级 and has a symbol with two arrows forming a circle.

    If you want to root, don't choose the option this tile will give you! Contact Mark!

    Here you can see the last tab with the big blue tile.

    This is what you see when you choose that blue tile.
    As you can see, I already updated and are now at Xiaomis mercy for English...


    You can also see that the UI is very straight forward and explains itself. Kudos for that Xiaomi!

    the new box from ibuy come with:
    system 1: 1.1.8
    system 2: 1.2.0

    so we all have 2 wait :S

    Since my MI-Box already "Jailbreak". If I update it, will I lose my "Jailbreak" ?
