Which Rom To Unlock Bootloader ?

I will receive soon a redmi 4x with international version of miui.

Is it ok for the unlock of bootloader.

I read on other forums that a dev version installed was necessary to be able to unlock bootloader.

Open the app sign in or sign up.
Search forum on how to unlock bootloader.
Follow the instructions given.
Flash and enjoy any ROM available for your device using the correct flash tool.

You need to ask Xiaomi for permission first.
Then when permission is granted, you have to wait a few days to unlock the bootloader using the official unlocking tool.

I finally received the sms "you've been granted..." So I'll be able to unlock the redmi4X.

I have a (last?) question before doing all : Can I flash the last xiaomi.eu rom with Nougat on my actual Global rom with Marshmallow ? No risk ?

Back again !
As you can see, I'm now with a fresh xiaom.eu rom, on an unlocked redmi 4x, thanks to all !

I just followed all steps (ask unlock, permission granted, install adb drivers, enabled necessary options on the phone) then I used mi-unlock.
After the unlock (100% as first time !), I flashed twrp in fastboot, then flashed the rom.

Just a last question : to boot in recovery, is it volum up + start button ?

Congratulations!!!
You can reboot to recovery mode by:-

1. The updater app (see example in the image attached) or
2. Pressing the volume up & power buttons at the same time
