Hi all, my mi2s is dead. I cant recarge battery, or even pass files trhough usb port, because pc will not reconize it, and it will not charge -.- I m alot disappointed, i decided to take mi2s with me for another one year (thanks to Lollipop), but now i think that i have to take another cellphone, and this is sad :( Anyone can help me?

    Hi,

First thing to do is to try with another USB cable.

    Did you tried?

How are your soldering skills? You could get a new usbport on aliexpress..

Only big pieces of steel. Non micro soldering. @Beyaz the problem is rom modding.. if i brick the device, i can't recover from usb :|

I'm interested too. Because it can happen to me ●︿●

  11. weird, that it did not happen to me yet :p
well about charging: create one of these self-built wireless chargers. changing the SW gets complicated then, indeed.
