I own a Mi2A. I have installed smiui 5.4.24 normal version via updater. My previuos ROM was the last developer v5.
I've had issues with wifi connections, but then I did the three wipes and installed smiui again. Now almost everything is working. I have only experienced one single reboot while playing with home screen widgets.
In my opinion the volumes (notifications, alarms...) are quite low. It seems that the battery drains faster and gets charged slower than in my previous ROM. I'm still having problems with notifications, like in v5: whatsapp notifications sometimes arrive late and the ones from google inbox get delivered only when I'm on a wifi connection. Sometimes the launcher gets reloaded.
All in all smiui feels smoother than v5 and I think it's ready for a daily basis usage
Dear sebsch1991, cau you please provide us any remedy/alternate for the USSD issue with MI2S 5.4.17?Development for sMiUI ARIES is currently paused. Please use last KitKat Build 5.3.27 or last Android L Build 5.4.17 !
Development is just paused, not discontinued!
Xiaomi has to fix some things and I´am currently working on a new project which you might like a lot!
Please stay tuned and dont ask for ETAs

Exactly, nice weekend for testing new release.
I'm running 5.4.24 on my Wife's Mi Note and 5.5.1 on my (Mi Note too). Both heavily using phones so we will see the eventual improvements.
Question important for both of us - Sebsch, could you make a script/package to restore paid themes (Mi Credits etc.)?

I also tried to make a clean instal, wiping cache, format system, cache sbl1-2-3..on both partitions...but after install all the apps are still there!
Can u help?

It's a bit ot but please let me ask you for a recommendation for a good camera app. As for now I'm using the Google app but I'm not very satisfied. As already said: any recommendation for sMIUI on Mi2s...?

In the night the phone (powered off) lost a lot of battery D:
It's a problem of my ROM (smiui v6 lollipop 5.4.17) or a problem of my battery? My dad (same phone same rom) hasn't any problems
