OK. Never mind ...
I restored a backup of previous system (7.12.21), and everything is fine now.
So .. after my bad experience (from develop to stable), I think I'll keep on this developer for the time being ...
Thanks for your help, anyway
I have already done that:
- reboot in twrp and do "Advanced wipe" (wipe everything except "internal storage")
This time phone gets bootloop (MI logo for a long time and nothing happens) I waited for over 10 minutes ...
I tried to install from Developer to Stable:
1.- copied the ROM into root of device....
2.- chose update package to install the ROM ...
- phone reboots itself into TWRP and starts installing process.
- when finished, phone didn't reboot again into TWRP, so didn't give me the choice to wipe...
At the moment I'm running eu developer 7.12.28 and quite pleased with it but ... If I want to flash to eu Stable, ... Do I have to take any precautions?
What would be the steps to follow to pass from developer to stable rom?
Would my bootloader get locked after that?
Same happened to me when I updated from Android 5 to Android 7 for the first time. Like you, I got my bootloader locked and had to unlock the official way. (Also had some trouble with the firmware as described here...
