The problem still exists as in the previous updates. You have to go to the "App info" and delete all data not only the cache, then the compass works in Google Maps EDIT: Mi 11 Ultra

I was coming from MIUI 13 and did Not Format Data but i would recommend it when you are comming from 12

You dont need to downgrade, you need to upgrade, if you are comming from MIUI 13 and if you use the older TRWP
