just updated twrp and installed via fastboot update script without wipe on mix 4.. i did not encounter any problems during the process and i have not identified any problems with hyper os yet thank you

Mix 4 Odin works like a charm, no noticeable issues at this moment....

mix 4 everything went well without problems (error red messages but rebooting to recovery and reinstalling again solved that)

why would you need to format the device when installing via recovery?

In my experience this release has improved mix4 user interface handling and performance drastically, swiping back works, volume button delays gone, as to Whatsapp notifications, I think it is better but I can't make a definite statement as to that issue
