    Hey. I stopped updating my mipad with smiui and went back to the 5.4.17 rom since it was the latest rom i could find that supported the 'update.zip' method of rooting. Anyone know if this method is possible again on recent updates of smiui?

    Am I the only one having truble with the download link? Chrome tells me that the page "j.gs/5yfo" is not available.

    Yep. I even tried the old workaround - flashing a supersu zip in cwm, but that doesn't work anymore either

    That's too bad. Thanks for the response though! Great to see smiui on the mipad btw.! But I can't seem to get it rooted anymore. Any idea why the aroma installer can't install SuperSu?

    Hey I'm on the mi2s. Since the latest updates I've been unable to install a custom recovery. Not sure if it's because of the new partition layout or whatever.. Can anyone tell me if it's possible to install a custom recovery these days?

    I'm a little confused here. I'm already on the 5.4.17 rom on my mi2s. Is there any reason to flash it again? I mean, have you made any updates to it, or is it just the same as last week when it was uploaded originally? Thanks for your awesome work sebsch!
