Working fine on Mi5 Pro

Maybe a stupid question but I have tested with CPU-Z on MI5 Pro and it shows 2 of 4 CPU's functioning. Could it be that the other 2 are not working because the first 2 are providing enough for the current apps and status? Or should all 4 CPU's be functioning all the time?

I have to agree with you. I have the same results on Mi5 Pro 4/128GB

MI5 Pro voice recorder within 3rd party apps OK. Tested on WhatsApp and all is well. GPS working fine with google maps. HDR mode also working fine.

Wow. I did the update over the weekend on my Mi5 Pro and just today I looked an realized that Android 7.0 is now running. I didn't do anything other than accept the installation when I was prompted by the automatic update. :-) Thanks and well done.

I would think it would be more of a two sided tape used. That way you can cut it and then peel one side and prepare it and then peel the other side and drop it in place. Very thin two sided tape I guess.

Whenever I open the compass app it just flashes and then closes however it still shows in the running apps. If I select it from running apps it again just flashes and then closes. Any ideas? Thanks

lol , I tried that before but I activated it using *#*# etc. and it only listed 10 tests. Anyway this time I could run the test but it is only the screen that you see the contact movement. Nevertheless since I did a reboot it seems OK. If the problem comes back I will post here again. Thank you...

You should be able to control your phone through MiPCSuite. When my Mi4 screen was broken I could only connect my phone and unlock it and operate it normally in MiPCSuite. So once you find the file then move it to a folder that you can view through your PC or email it to yourself.

I just ordered a Mi5 pro from honorbuy and expect it in a day or so. Will be watching this thread with interest :-)

Settings/Additional Settings/Buttons, increase long press time solved the issue. Thanks to Pertti Kosunen for the prompt answer. By default it is set to 0.5 seconds.

I have just tried that and it seems to work. It must be set by default at 0.5 seconds. Don't remember such an issue with past updates. Thanks for the prompt reply. I will follow up if I have any more issues with this. Thanks Regards, Scott
