if you going back from 5.1.1 (5.10.8) to any of 5.0.2 (including stable) you need to use MiFlash to flash old radio file to your phone. I think radio/baseband has been updated with 5.1.1. Follow this: http://en.miui.com/thread-166934-1-1.html

use MiRecovery and flash from there. Why do you want to use fastboot if MiRecovery method is simple and straight forward??

you need leo file for mi note pro, not hermes. 5.9.24 for leo is postponed ATM. You can flash correct image using MiRecovery (which is already in your phone I guess), you don't need to use fastboot or twrp.

I'd say you don't have twrp, you are booting into MiRecovery instead of twrp. Check if leo.img is the correct twrp image

no, Mi Note Pro TWRP version 2.8.6.0 doesn't backup modem. Logs are only showing misc, boot, cache, system, data, recovery and usbdisc. Nothing about modem...

instead of kernel version tap 7 times miui version and you will get to dev (tested on 5.7.31)

Mi PC Suite can't view the files/contacts/ apps etc when Mi Note Pro is connected to the PC. Also phone cannot be recognized by Mi PC Suite, it only shows Mi device. Able to backup the phone but that's it
