Not true, sorry. Like you could see in the attached screenshot, Mi Calendar (is it a system app?) for instance is not installable. Where is the connection to updating apps via apk,like you quoted?

Have the same issue - Xiaomi apps in PS not updatable, or not installable. Any information or hints?

I use Macrodroid for certain automated tasks, for which certain permissions need to be granted via adb commands. On stable Xiaomi.EU ROM it´s not available/possible to grant the permissions, see attached screenshot => security exception! Any advice for possible issue solutions?

Alright, understand. For me the main camera works in 24.4.8 DEV, but not the selfie cam. Can you confirm that with that fix selfie cam will also work? I would also try it by myself, but if not, flashing back to previous weekly is a bunch of effort...

So the recommendation on the issue would be, from Devs perspective, to NOT use/flash Xiaomi.eu ROM, neither weekly nor stable, for Xiaomi 14 (?)

Again, thanks to the Devs to provide the zip. Question is, if the correct and working modem will be part of ROM updates soon. Flashing the add. zipfile after each update is a bit off...

Thank you! However, flashing TWRP doesn´t help - still stuck in fastboot mode (although no failures during flashing the TWRP image).

Installed latest stable (using fastboot method on Windows PC, freshly unlocked device) - now the Houji (Xiaomi 14) does not boot, it is stuck in fastboot mode. I tried flashing several times - always the same result. The CMD window is closed immediately, so that I cannot see any final message...

A bit unbalanced view, huh..? Chinese: bad guys, hackers everywhere, etc. Google/Apple/US: good guys, pure democrats, pure freedom, etc. Question: back when did you visit China?

OK, I thought so, thank you. If Google integration is full, there is a huge difference in being vulnerable to hackers (and I don't mean the usual definition here) - just read the texts/posts of GrapheneOS developers... Battery life is also affected.
