Google made the changes after that last module. It's never going to work again the way it did before. That's the feeling I'm getting. I can't go back to stock, the Mix 4 has limited options. Back to stock Chinese ROM and no Google services, or Global ROM and unlocked bootloader.

Worked for a day or two, now same problem. Not so funny now, but, I can live with it.

It worked, then stopped for no reason. Then some obscure battery saver setting got triggered, and the settings never restored.

So, background autostart was disabled for all my apps. I am not sure when this happened. RAM was so set to clear 5min after locking. Makes me think I implemented some battery/power saver setting at some point causing this.

I did check everything, I'll go through it once again and confirm. It seems to close the apps, although it's been set not to.

After months, still no matter what you do, many notifications only pop up when you unlock the phone. Often hours later.

I have no WhatsApp problems on Mix 4.

It takes a while to stabilise, but it will be fine again. I'm not sure why.

My Mix 4 also has that, but smaller. It's annoying because when it's over the keyboard you cannot type. It's not a problem that needs fixing for me, but a minor annoyance. I see your problem is bigger haha

It worked fine for me, but battery life is worse, and there is an annoying video camera bug where a frame is droppes/jerked every time lighting changes drastically. Hopefully future updates resolves it.
