Yes you can use the global , I've used it before on this phone. But never relock the bootloader while on global rom.

First remove your screen protector if you have one installed. You could try downgrading to last miui 13 stable . Flash using fastboot and do full wipe.

I think i found a fix for this. Uninstall updates for Google play services , and clear all data. Compass should be working again.
