True. At least on the xiaomi.EU rom calling problem for the Redmi Note 12 Turbo (Chinese), I think we might not blame Xiaomi but review the procedure here. Again, it should keep the baseline for the Chinese version when making the EU rom based on the Chinese stock rom. PS. Taking the experience...

I never use Android Auto. But as the GooglePlay is officially supported in CN stock rom, are you saying that the Android Auto app you download and install from GooglePlay doen't work at all?

It won't explain in the same country with the same sim card, China stock rom works perfectly but EU rom has such call problem.

Yes, you are right. I have to flash the base rom modem file after every update if it's still not solved officially. I'm in EU stable build so I don't think I will update the system that often. At least my phone could run the xiaomi.eu for daily use now.
