Ok, ultra weird, after wiping every posible cache and thumbnail folder on my phone SOME songs started showing album art agan :/
others show nothing, and a few show the "tune anouncer no album art icon"
mm, i have not tested that, since i use a plugin for controlling audio manager pro for this.
i know its not gingerbread, per se, but i also know it started arround the time they migrated to gingerbread source.

Dunno WHAT miui developers did with the SMS database or sms subsystem or WHATEVER.
But after they started using the 2.3.3 source, SOMETHING changed, and at least for TASKER, it became imposible to use SMS related triggers.
After some testing, i verified that tasker can no longer READ from...
bleh, i had one (only one, less frequent :P) random reboot.
i was using the sound recorder, with the screen off.
i nandroided back to last week version.
It seems that my random reboots were fixed by the full wipe and clean install.
McAfee Mobile Security (ex wave secure) still crashes upon registering, but it works after a titanium backup restore (it does one FC after a reboot tho)

im cyanogenmod right now, but i was on 12.11 before, always installing over the top.
ps: im on CM cause i broke my MIUI installation trying data2fat32 and data2ext, and wanted to see how cm was doing these days :P
1) make a nandroid + ext backup while using the old card
2) copy the old card "fat32" stuff to your pc (the stuff you can see on windows :P)
3) partition the new card using amon ra or clockwork mod
4) copy the stuff you had on the old card´s fat32 partition to the new one
5) nandroid restore (if...
