I am sad that this is the end of the MiPad 1 updates because it never went further than version 4.4....is there no hope of ever renewing this excellent pad?

I thought he meant it was for people who changed partitions, they had to change it back to the original status, but maybe I misunderstood.

I tried to install this rom on my MiPad 1 but did not succeed so far. I read about repartitioning, is that necessary? I have never changed something before. Today I just downloaded this rom, and tried to install it with the updater app, but got stuck at 90%. Can somebody help me out?

Maybe it is a good idea to look at the possibilities of the Xiaomi redmi 3 and redmi 3 pro. These phones are more up to date than the m2s, low priced, and only slightly bigger. I still use my m2s, but also the redmi note 3 pro, a lot bigger, but you get used to it very soon!

Why not the MiPad, older phones still get updates!

Okay, I downloaded the newest twrp, but what do I have to do now? It is a zip file, do I have to go to updater, or unzip this first? Excuse me for my ignorant questions! So far I restarted, now I am in twrp and when I go to wipe I can swipe on the bottom with the white arrows, and there it says...

The one on page 1 here, just to be sure deleted twrp and installed it again. This worked fine until 6 weeks ago....

Can somebody please help me? I am stuck on a 6 weeks old rom with my Xiaomi m2s, it simply will not update anymore. I am stuck in twrp, and I really don't know what to do anymore. It always went fine, until 6 weeks ago. Who can help me step by step to install this new rom?

How did you put the rom into data? I have the m2s and installed already an older version of twrp. Phone memory is down to 582mb, so no room for an extra zip file I'm afraid. Help is very welcome!

I totally agree with you, there must be some flaw in this rom, we can't be the only 2!
