Hello to all,
I've been putting it off for months and months but I'm here to get your help with my Mi Home Security camera.
I am currently in version 4.0.5_0087 and the application has been suggesting for months that I upgrade to version 4.0.9_0142. The problem is that when I launch the update, I hear the camera announce vocally the operation, but it ends in failure ; the update stays at 0% (the camera remains usable, it does not brick. Note that the camera has full access to internet ; no restrictions)
(I want to apply the latest updates because - even if the problem is currently solved - I had problems accessing the SD card that I had to reformat regularly, I also find that the sensitivity even at maximum is no enough, and anyway just enjoy the latest features and security).
On the other hand, I did not keep the box and I did not see any reference to a model number either on the camera or on the mi home application.
Could you help me :
- how to get the model number
- where to download the last update
- how to apply it manually (a copy of the file on the SD card?)
- bonus ; if you know a compatible app to have camera's images on a computer (without android emulation)
