I already applied it its for mi3w but I lose all gapps, and because I using original recovery so I downloaded gapps to pc and copied what I need then installed them one by one and now every thing work fine, I Didn't lose any data even apps

So... just to make sure this is hammered into my thick skull properly, in order for me to use the AROMA installer on my mi2s (which is running smiui 5.7.16 + mirecovery + merged partitions):

is it possible to install normal CWM recovery, then install the latest smiui via AROMA? I dont really care if the recovery is overwritten afterwards with mirecovery, but I just want the cool AROMA options when doing the install.
