3. Mediatek-based devices have a nasty tendency to hard bricks, and we want no responsibility for that. i figured that was the reason.

seems like xiaomi is launching more and more devices, albeit the devices are the entry level brand of Redmi series, will there be xiaomi.eu rom for those devices, seeing that the current only mediatek model, Redmi note 8 pro has no xiaomi.eu rom due to the issues with mediatek chipset.

will Note 8T, willow, be included?

can anyone point me in the direction to read and learn the resources where i can create a batch file for use in OF Recovery, thanks in advance. my goal is to create a batch file to delete folders in OF Recovery. after rom updates, i manually mount "system" then proceed to delete folders...

just a heads up, there is now an official recovery for lavender head over to XDA to check it out. thank you to ICEMAN for his "unofficial" lavender hard work before this came out.

is that the "official" 3.3.3.2? thanks, will try that, have to wait 24 hours for bootloader unlock, it seems that xiaomi does not allow 2 bootloader unlocks in a 24 hr period.

SON OF A GUN!!! i believe it's a "non official" TWRP issue with my device. i miflashtool back to 10.3.6.0 PFGMIXM and bootloader was locked. unlocked again. flashed TWRP, booted back into encrypted TWRP!?!

i did, was already on 9.6.27 i'm going to flash with 10.3.6.0 PFGMIXM and then retry TWRP i believe it's a problem with an "unofficial" TWRP :( i should have bought a Redmi Note 7 Pro instead, then i will have official TWRP

the "should boot into twrp" instead becomes "boot into encrypted TWRP" and requires a password i used Vol - and Power to get into fastboot again and same thing happens.
